On the 23rd October 2009 from 7pm at the Crowne Plazza hotel, Shopping Center, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, Irish Community Empowerment Group will organize for the first time in Ireland Miss Congo Ireland 2009

Miss Congo Ireland will be a major event and a great opportunity for all and sundry, that is why we invite everyone wishing to become sponsors not to delay in contacting us. We will put your logo on the internet, on our leaflets and all our TV programs relating to our official Miss Congo Ireland pageant.

Why Miss Congo-Ireland?

• Why not us when other countries do?
• We do not want Congo to lag behind other countries.
• This is a fundraising event, we want to raise money to help schools in the Congo and also help our children who are here in Ireland.

Who can become a participant in Miss Congo-Ireland competition?

• Any girl oirginally from Congo by birth or naturalization or one or both parents are originally Congolese.
• Any girl from the category above aged between 16 to 26 years.
• Any girl who has not yet given birth and must be single.

How do I register?

Pourquoi Miss Congo?

• Pourquoi pas nous quand les autres nationalités le font? Nous ne voulons pas que le Congo reste derrière les autres.
• Nous devons montrer Yes we can, We are able.
• C’est une collecte de fonds, nous voulons récolter l’argent afin d’aider les écoles au Congo et aussi aider nos enfants qui sont ici sur place en Ireland (par exemple payer les billets des volontaires qui ont accepté d’aider nos enfants avec leur devoir à domicile (math, anglais, comptabilité…).
• La fille qui sera Miss deviendra ambassadrice des jeunes et du Congo en Irlande. Nous organiserons des activités qui vont stimuler les autres jeunes et elle sera un model pour les autres.
• La demoiselle qui sera Miss, ensemble avec les autres qui voudront bien l’accompagner, ira au Congo pour remettre les dons de notre ONG (IRCEG).

Qui peut devenir candidate au concours Miss Congo-Ireland ?

• Toute jeune fille d’origine congolaise (par naturalisation ou les parents ou l’un des parents est d’origine congolaise).
• Toute jeune fille âgée de 16 à 26 ans.
• Toute jeune fille qui n’a pas encore mis au monde et est célibataire.
